I think they are finding it isn't working as well as they would like, so they are still over there. It probably has failed to the extent that they haven't built a mega-church in downtown Baghdad yet, but i imagine they won't leave until their is one.

I wonder about some of the questions. Do you truly believe that America is attempting to "Christianize" Iraq, and Afghanistan ?
We are at War with Islamic Expansionism, and Totalitarianism. This is a World Wide War ! It is the hope of our President that we may be able to Democratize the Islamic World, but that does not translate in to Christianizing them.

When was America trying to Christianize Iraq or Afghanistan?
After all that is in the region where Christianity began.

I don't believe America has attempted to Christianize Iraq or Afghanistan any more than they have any other country. If they have, they are certainly going about it the wrong way. Blowing up my cities and trying to irradicate my culture certainly wouldn't persuade me.

It has not failed. There are hundreds of churches meeting in homes, reading Bibles, listening to Christian radio, watching Christian TV and doing so for the first time.

Haven't heard pro or con.. not even aware this was being tried.. There are christian settlements in Iraq.. have been there for years. But have not heard of any evangelizing in either country. That was not the intent. They may be functional there but, no more than before.

That was not the purpose, the purpose was to stop Muslims from killing innocent civilians all over the world. It is Islam that has made this a religious war and not the other way around. I guess you hadn't heard that Christianity does not teach conversion at the point of a sword.

There never was nor is there any plan for the future to Christianize Iraq, Afganistan or any place else.
Your question illustrates your ignorance.
