Look in your phone book under vets and find a 24 hr emergency animal hospital, simply give them a call (will be free)and explain exactly what the dog is doing and a trained expert will be able to give you advise. Do try to get the dog to drink something so it doesn''t get dehydrated.Even a small amount from a medicine dropper is better than nothing.Dont worry so much about the eating, dogs can go several days without food and be just fine.

Vet.
Tomorrow.
Go.

At the very least, your dog needs to drink water constantly. Past couple of days? Vomiting? She's starting to dehydrate.

I've seen dogs that wag their tails and look "peppy" minutes before they're dead. They're just that way. You have to keep an eye on their food and water intake to determie how they're doing physically.

o gosh.... all i can think of is a psychological disorder. i know it sounds stupid, and it's most likely not true, but she cud've seen a dream or sumthin, that wasnt very pleasant, and is making her feel llike she doesn't want to eat, and frequent memories of it makes her go crazy possibly. but i am not sure if that wud be the correct answer, but the best thing to do, is take her to the vet immediately or she can catch a sickness!!
good luck !! :)

If you took her to the vet, they could tell you what is wrong? Sorry, I don't have my lab diagnostics running right now and my magic 8 ball is taking a break.

my poodle goes thru phases where he doesn't seem to eat or drink much-- and then he just goes back to eating with no apparent reason or harm in the stopping or starting....he always seems fine...
