I'd like to sing an upbeat song for a show coming up and I need some suggestions! I'm going to look up the lyrics before I go looking for the song so please make sure it's appropriate! Thanks so much!

I like "May It Be" by Enya, or "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride. It realy depends on whether you're an upper-level alto, or a lower-level alto.

Hope these help! :)

Celine Dion sings a lot in the alto range. Enya's pretty comfortable for an alto as well, as is Emiliana Torrini. I'm really more into sacred and classical repertoire, so this is all my limited experience can come up with.

Good Luck!
