I hate you anyway and believe that you'll all go to HELL in the end but I have one question. Do you celebrate Christmas? If you do why?? Why do you celebrate someone's birthday whom you think doesn't exsist? What do you do during the holidays where everyone is buying Christmas Trees and other stuff?

This is the only question I'll be asking in this section, as it is far too messed up a section and you guys always go about it so wrongly!!

Firstly, I didn't realize hate was a Christian value.
I believe in God, I do not follow the teachings of Christianity. There is a difference.
I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate the Winter Solstice. Do you know where and how Christmas originated? I decorate a tree with stars, stags, suns, white lights, and red bulbs. For me it represents the birth of the Sun/Son. Why do you participate?
I do not believe that this country was founded on Christian values.
Please educate yourself a bit before you ask such brash questions.

Blessings )O(

As an Atheist I don't hate god. I think he is a fairy tale and doesn't exist. It doesn't matter to me that you think I am going to hell any more than it matters to you that Muslims think you are.

I only have a problem with the pushy fan club. If believers would leave me and my tax dollars alone we would have no problem.

We do celebrate Christmas. It is part of the American culture and a nice holiday. Even though I think god is about as real as Santa, I am not offended by your belief in god, and thus not in the reason behind it. But it is a nice holiday and not offensive, we do celebrate it just in a very secular way.

In America it has become a mostly secular holiday anyhow. I know that bothers some Christians, but that is how the culture has gone.

Well first thing, if you hate atheists then you are committing a sin. Which is punishment is Hell.

Secondly, Christmas in the United Sates has become less about religion, and more about money in the past several decades. So, the Christmas that most of us celebrate is one that promotes family togetherness, and generosity. It really has nothing to do with religion at all. We just choose to have it at the same time as JCs birthday. Hell, we are off work anyway.

Christmas is a pagan holiday. Every Bible historian I have ever heard has said Christ was almost certainly born in the spring.

So your God was not born on Christmas. Now I ask you, as a GOOD Christian, why do you celebrate a pagan holiday in the name of your Lord? It can't possibly get you any gold stars on that heavenly tally board.

I am an ordained minister who has left the church and converted to Atheism because there is no evidence your god exists. And you sir, are way out of your league.

You keep hating and wishing others a speedy trip to hell. If you are right and I am wrong I'll see you there.

I celebrate Christmas, even though I am a Buddhist, because I believe Jesus lived and because Christmas is a time based on love and happiness. I simply do not believe he was a saviour. I do not hate Christians, and I don't think Jesus would approve of you hating people who do not agree with your beliefs. BTW, the Calendar is Pagan, not Christian:

January: Janus (Roman two-faced god)
March: Mars
May: Maia (Roman Titaness)
June: Juno

See?

Hmmm:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
- First Ammendment -

Doesn't sound like america is a theocracy...

I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate the Winter Solstice. You'll also have to find where in the buybull is says anything about Jesus being born on the 25th of December or talks about Christmas trees.

I guess America was founded on Christian values...like genocide (Native Americans), slavery, and inequality for women (wasn't allowed to vote until 1920).

But our Constitution was not founded on that. Ours is a godless Constitution.

I am a Christian, but I celebrate Yule as I have problems with the birth of Christ being in December and my family is pagan. Yule, Solstice, Saturnalia, and several other pagan holidays take place at the same time as Christmas and are also birth of god holidays. So go pick out a Yule tree, give yule presents, and i either go to or watch mass at midnight.

A couple things...

What does Christmas trees have to do with the birth of your Christ anyway? Some atheists believe Jesus existed. Christ is so far removed from what most of Christmas means to most people, it's not even funny.

To me, Christmas is a great time to be with family and to share with them, but I am giving serious consideration to if I should celebrate Christmas too much anyway.

BTW, see you in hell you judgemental piece of s**t.

This question is not addressed to me,.....
But I wanted to say, THIS IS A QUESTION ADDRESSED BY A NON-CHRISTIAN TO NON-CHRISTIANS.
For one thing, here is a person that hates!
How convenient for non-christians to accept her as a christian.
HER, you say? Yeah HER. A 12 YEAR OLD HER! 14 AT BEST!
Not only have you not discerned her faith (lack of). Neither did some discern her gender or age!
She hates her mother, hates her father, hates her family, hates, her life, and can't figure out how to get along with her siblings. No one read her previous questions?
This is funny! A Non-christian kid, playing games on the computer at YA, being attacked by all of these non-christians. You'd think a christian would be involved in this converstian somewhere, right. Think again.
SO MUCH HATE IN THE WORLD.
THIS EXCHANGE IS NOTHING MORE THAN SELF-MUTILATION. NON-CHRISTIANS ATTACKING A NON-CHRISTIAN (professing to be a christian). Babbling back and forth for nothing.

WOW!

Peace
