googlywot...- thanks you for your response. My life does include those things you mentioned but because I accept them I am very fulfilled and happy. Sorry that my fulfilled life has offended yours. God bless.

STEVE- I understand and appreciate your answer. However, my belief in Santa the Bunny as I grew older waned away through maturity. My faith in Jesus was not a result of brainwashing but a result of seeing how goodness, grace, compassion and an honest zeal for life radiated from my family growing up based on their love of God. I believe in Jesus, I do not believe in priests or religion (man made) I read the Bible as an adult, I've had some experiences based on practising faith and I would be an intelligent person seeking a fulfilled life if I were to say "Oh, this is just luck", I find that lacking in spiritual substance. Thanks for your answer.

Oh Googlywot, you amuse me to the end. this is the first time I've posed this question. At any rate, as long as you're happy with your life thats all that matters. Whether or not you were offended has absolutely no relevance to me. You said "I maintain a firm grip on my emotions and do not allow others to control them. It's a shame more people do not realise this power they so readily give to others to use against them!" If thats the power you seek, may it serve you well in your time of need. As far as grip on my emotions, i don't see the relevancy with relation to the initial question. Thank you for your response.

Every beginning has an end. There is nothing after death because your brain dies. Just like how there was nothing before birth. If you were raised in a catholic family, you would probably be catholic. This is because as children they brain wash all of us, so we will "do good" and not commit so called "sins". There is no such thing as a sin, and if religion is the only thing preventing you from committing wrong deeds, you need help.
I was raised in a religious family, but i always questioned. I mean, they lied to us about Santa Clause didn't they? And the Easter Bunny? If what i have wrote does not make you think or question your beliefs, you shouldn't be on this sight. Take what i say into consideration. Isn't it just as plausible as saying we were created by a "god"? Ever wonder why "god" never talks back? If you have a miracle story to preach to me, save it. You encountered something called luck. Explain to me this whole priest raping little boys situation? Is this a new tradition? Thanks for reading.

Christians get the shock of their deaths as they find out their God was actually their Devil who had simply double-bluffed them into willingly handing over their eternal souls to him through their inabilities to question what they were told; irony wins in the end!

Seriously though, I'll keep my beliefs regarding the afterlife to myself and those who REALLY want to know, not just to allow some self-righteous egotist to bash them for their own sense of pleasure through others' pain.

Hmm, your life is so fulfilled, is it? Strange...when I was a christian, it was good "form" to not only be humble, but to live a poor, suffering and hard life, emulating the one Jesus had, as the rewards in heaven are proportionate to the suffering of the christian in this life...or so the bible says.....have you not read that far then?

(isn't it a shame, one cannot DELETE their previous Q & A's, eh? Or have you a bad memory...? *wink*)

I am in no way "offended" by anyone, least of all you, lol, so do not worry yourself over a needless apology(I wonder, what could possibly have made you presume that...? Hmm). I should let you know, you're just not important enough to have any influence upon me in that respect, but thanks anyway.
I maintain a firm grip on my emotions and do not allow others to control them. It's a shame more people do not realise this power they so readily give to others to use against them!

I hope there is a review room where we get to go back and see every decision we made and how it affected the rest of our lives. I also hope we get to find out the real truth about all the things we're unsure of. Where is Jimmy Hoffa? If O.J. didn't do it, who did?

Well death is just that - death. The end of your existence. That's all there is to say about it really.
