my daughter and I were both hired to be reservation agents and we really want this job... we have to memorize 245 city codes in the next 2 weeks....does anyone have any short cuts or ideas to get these 3 letter codes into our heads?

it was suggested to make Acronyms but not all of them have something to use for it.....we really need help

thanks!

A lot of them are easy because they are almost like the name of the city or the airport itself (eg. JFK - JFK airport, NY.), and others you can just work out because they are almost acronyms (eg. LHR - London HeathRow).

The rest you'll just have to learn. It's good that you and your daughter are both doing it because it means you can test each other on them.

Hmmm good luck on that! Try learning them worldwide and I don't just mean the major cities. I guess I would suggest just testing each other over and over.....repetition is the key well was for me anyways.

Do you know what system you would be working on? If so there are codes in there to verify airport codes to make sure you never get one wrong. However you have to get the job first.....Good Luck to you!
