Okay....I need to straighten my hair in real short notice. What can I use to keep it straight for about like 10 hours. It doesnt' normally stay straight if I shower, dry it, straighten it, and leave. I need to find something to use to keep it like I want for like I said 10 hours without going out and getting something. Any ideas on what I can use?

You could go to a salon & have them straighten it with a flat iron, or buy a flat iron & do it yourself. Make sure your hair is completely dry, divide it into sections, start at the bottom (at your neck line), pull a little bit of hair down at a time, spray with hair spray, then run the flat iron over it steadily, just use a smooth, natural motion, a little bit slower than how fast you comb your hair. Don't let the iron just sit on your hair in a certain area for too long. Then pull next section down & continue until your done. Rub a light gel or a shine serum over your hair to keep it frizz free, shiny, & "flat".

I guess it depends upon your hair type. After you straighten it the first time, I'd spray it with some super hold hair spray. Or else there is this stuff from Pantene called Pantene style smooth & shine anti-frizz serum. This stuff is awesome! After you straighten your hair, put a couple squirts in your hands and rub them together and just smooth over your hair, and not only does it stay straight, it's shiny!!

Just go to a hair dresser and get it done, they use the right products and my hair usually lasts at least 24 hours straightened. Good luck

ok the first step that you must take it is to see if you hair it's strong enough to straight it ....get one strand of hair and see if you break it easily then you might need treatment first for about a month .....the good thing about it ...it's that it's going to take anything you do to hair .....second Choose a good relaxer cream that has neutralizer ....if it does not have neutralizer then your hair won't be strainght as long as you want it ....then choose Pantene Shampoo and Pantene Conditioner mosturizer and you must wash your hair only once a week , use curls you know the ones that Grandma used to do when she would prepare herself to parties ...well you can use them everytime you wash your hair and let it dry with a blowdrier, you must take care of your hair every week if you want it to be healthy do not use hair sprays, gels or pomades , do treatments every 15 days you can use mayonaise and leave it on hair for about 25 minutes with a plastic bag if you do it as what I say you would be surprise of the hair you would have in 3 months ...The good thing about doing all of these its that you are not only managing your hair you are also treating your hair for not have it on that condition again
.I had same problem and you can see on my picture how my hair looks, lot's of work but it worth it ...everybody admires my hair and I used to have the worsest hair ever
try it ...good luck!!

I have a really good hair straightner! Its from Sallys Beauty Supplies, and its a CERAMIC PLATE straightner! Its pretty expensive, about 45-50 dollars, but it works GREAT!!! Here is a link for the picture!
