All day today my inner ear has been itching me like crazy. I"ve tried putting lotion on a q-tip think that might help if it was just dry skin, but its not helping. Any suggestions?

put cortisone cream on the q tip and rub that in your ear. It will calm any inflammation and stop the itch.

It could be a wax problem. The chemist has special drops for it .
Sometimes after a shower water can remain inside the ear.
Gently wipe it out with a cotton bud or go ask the chemist there is an ear spray for this type of problem.

If the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide work, then you may have a candida infestation. If you have other symptoms of skin problems, then the candida (which lives in our intestines anyway) may be internal as well as external.

There is some basic info about candida (yeast) infections on www.hufa.org at the yeast link.

a combination of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide might help, if not see a dr. and dont put a q-tip in your ear as it will only push the wax deeper into you ear and cause problems.

You could try baby oil on the q-tip. That usually works for me. Otherwise, you're just building up to a sinus headache, and you need sudafed or equivalent.
