This is the first time I've put it on his stomach area but thats were his fleas are, is this bad?

yes that can harm your dog if he licks it..I have been a vet tech for 6 years and have seen many dogs and cats come in with seizures and other serious issues...You need to put it high on the back of the neck where he cant get to it.

First of all, no it won't hurt your dog it lick it. It is better to put it on the shoulder blades because you don't want them to like it off, cause if they do, of course, it won't work. Also it spreads through the oils in the hair and skin so putting it on the stomach won't hurt it just might not spread as good since there isn't as much hair. Anyone who tells you it will kill your dog to lick or eat the stuff has no clue what they are talking about.

the directions most likely said to put it on the shoulderblade, and it will spread. If it is on the stomach, it might not spread as easily.
Make sure you treat the bedding and the rest of the house for fleas too!!!!

Did you use the powder or the liquid? The tiny vials that you get from your vet are supposed to go on the back of his neck. The powder generally goes everywhere.

you need flea shampoo and bathe the dog watch his eyes and ears

use frontline plus on the back of your dogs neck.... 3 days later GONE!

yes it is bad. you are soposed to put it on his neck so he can't lick it. i'm not sure what happends if they do lick it but i know they aren't soposed to. and if it's on the neck they can't reach it.
