The Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is coming out with 300 HP fo $20,000.

Who needs the Omni GLH when that kind of power is in the pipeline.

The Omni was, by modern standards, a little pig of a car. I got to drive the Shelby turbo GLH edition (fastest GLH made) and it wasn't as fast as my '84 Colt Turbo.

Neither of those is in the same ballpark as any number of modern subcompacts. EFI has come a loooong way, and today's motors are light years better in every way than their 20-year-old ancestors. In the GLH's prime, a 8 second 1-60 time was a big deal, and I'm betting that a standard Civic will do that with no problem. The Shelby GLHS Turbo was good for about 110 mph (with luck) and I'd guess that the Civic will do that too.
