You are not in trouble. Just remember, it is your body and your business. If the doctor is worth the salt that goes in his bread, he will know your history.
I understand permanent side affects, being in a car crash when I was 4 years old. I just don't bring up the problems; the doctor will want even more money.

Without knowing what diseases you had as a newborn, and how long your stomach has been bothering you, it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to answer this question with certainty. Go to your doctor, (if you don't have insurance,USA, go to a free clinic).. a CHRONIC stomach problem is not normal, and once you find the root to the problem, it could be cured by something as simple as your diet, but only some preliminary test need to be done first to find out why. Give the doctor your history and save time and money. Good luck - and let us know how you make out - I wish you good health.

It does no harm to tell your doctor. The stomach pains could be from the diseases or it could be something else like an ulcer.
Look up the diseases on the Internet. If you go to a reputable site such as Johns Hopkins University or the Center For Disease Control, you should be able to learn if there are any long-lasting side effects.

Its good that you got cured. But now you really should take good care of yourself. You know, for the doctors to be able to help you, you need to tell them your entire medical history both past and present. this is because they are only human and they can only helpyou if you are totally honest with them. Jus open up to the doc trust me we health practitioners do not tell anyone your problems. we keep them confidential.

Your pediatrician should know your ENTIRE medical history. If you've had serious diseases, he/she should know. It may not seem related to you, but it could be very important. Let them decide if it's something to be concerned with. That's why they went to school for so many years. Literally, your health depends on it.

of course you have to tell them. this is part of your medical history. so, if you have other complications, they can have a point of reference.
