ok.. i asked this guy out for the homcoming dance and he has liked me since freshmen year. i asked him to the dance and he was suprized and yet he was freaking out because he figured out that i finally started to like him more than a friend. i talked to one of his friends and he said he was freaking out but not in a bad way, he just didnt act like himself. he asked me to the same dance last year and i turned him down for some reason. when i got an answer back it was undecided. but its taking him so long to decide for the real answer. what would you get from that?

Well...u never know eaxctly what he's thinkin..but with a guess you could say that he's deciding whether to turn it down just like u did it to him ..or to go with you to the dance...well i hope he goes with you to the dance..girl! stop worryin..

It could be that, because he has liked you for so long and you haven't responded in the same way, he thinks there's some alternate motive for asking him to the dance. Just show him that you sincerely want to go to the dance with him and talk it through with him. Sometimes guys tell thier friends cover stories, so that source is not totally reliable.

A lot of girls THINK they know how to dress and put on make-up - and most girls haven't got a clue.
If you really want this guy, dig deep into your purse and have a professional make over. Nice hair-do, nice make-up, a good perfume (Chanel No 5 makes us guys go wild) and a pretty dress.
Have it done properly and you wont be short of any blokes, no matter how fat, thin, ugly, plain or beautiful you are.

Well I say that you shouldn't have turned him down last year so he has the right to turn u down. However, if he does decide to go with you I think that you both have something for the other. He shouldnt be taking this time anymore.

He either doesn't know what he wants or he may be interested in another girl. Either way, take it in stride, don't wait on him if someone else peaks your interest or asks you to the dance, go for it...

he's definitely making you sweat, if he does say 'no' don't act surprised or anything just shrug, smile and walk away, that way he won't know how you feel either. if he's going to play games you have every right to play them too. and it does sound like he is just playing with you. sorry.

He probably was surprised that you are really interested in him! He is maybe concerned that you may change your mind and he don`t want to face his friends with your denial...Perhaps he might have a new girlfriend!!!!
