Connect the adapter to the computer using the USB cable. You may have to install the drivers for the adapter. Stick the SD card in the adapter. Most times the computer will automatically sense the card. In some cases you may have to click on the adpater icon or go to Start, Programs, Transcend Adapter and open it. That is it.

Take your camera to Circuit City (or Best Buy or like that) and go to the area that sells replacement cables. Find the cable that fits your camera. You should have software that supports this camera, usually as a driver. What happens is, you plug the camera into your PC and turn it on, and the PC suddenly thinks it has a new disk drive. If nothing else, you can use Windows Explorer to drag-and-drop the pictures on to your PC's hard drive.

You didn't tell us what kind of camera it was, what kind of PC you have, and what version of operating system. We can't give you any specific answers without this info.

Does the adaparter thingy have a USB cord, if so it goes into the computer and then you go to

MY COMPUTER

and you look for

REMOVABE DISK

And there should be all your pictures that you can copy and save to a folder on your C DRIVE

If it does not have a USB

Then you need to get a cord from the camera company along with software OR you need a CARD READER
