Yes. If body fluids mix, STD's can be transmitted. The risk increases with the amount of fluids transferred from one person to the other. With genital warts, no fluid has to mingle, all you have to do is touch infected skin to uninfected and there is a chance of transmission.

Also, 'bugs' like pubic lice can be transmitted just by casual contact, though it isn't all that common.

Always wear condoms when having sex. Unprotected sex is just too risky.
