I think that's cute. I have an all black cat with a white neck and white feet he looks like he's wearing socks. I love him, I always wake him up to play with me when i'm bored. I don't think it's wrong. I encourage it! Lol.

dogs love to play, he wouldn't mind

I do this all the time to my dog, I think he would chase a ball all night if he could

don't wake him up. let him sleep because he will need the sleep for later when he will play with you.
