Who did the photographs? They should have used ambient flash or natural lighting (dispersed, not solid shadows, in the background). The lens on the "consumer camera" is typical at making closeups look distorted.

And c'mon, smile, guys like girls who smile. And to boot, if you think you're going to get a guy just by your looks, you're mistaken. Not everyone is a supermodel, and as a result you need to show your personality is great.

your looks are probably not the reason, you seem pretty normal...maybe it's your personality....also, do you ever smile? A smile lets a person know that you are approachable.
