Is it true you have to pee in front of everyone, be in front of a lot of women only with your underwear on? Or it is just for other branches?

JanJ is incorrect, you will have to urinate in front of your MEPS processor (who should be female) and you will have to be in your underwear in front of a certain amount of people, yes, but they will all be females - and they will all be as nervous as you are, just remember that. When you get to bootcamp, you will have to shower with other members of the same sex - but once basic is over that goes away as well - even shipboard life you will have your own private showering stalls - they must be shared with other members, but not at the same time. MEPS is the same place for all the branches.............and yes you will have to pee in front of other people males for males, females for females. There will be some times that you will be in underwear but again only around other females / males.

MEPS processing is the same for all branches. You have to pee in a cup in front of the MEPS processing staff (it should be a female for you). When I was processed I did have to strip down to underwear. I am sure you will have to do the same, buyt then again you will be in your birthday suite a lot in the armed services.

My son is in the navy and no you dont have to pee in front of everyone and you do not stand with anyone with only their underwear.

One woman will watch you pee in the bottle to make sure you didn't bring some with you and that you don't scoop water out of the toilet.
