I think as long as you're not getting too deep with your thoughts and actions, you are fine. Although this can lead to other things, so my advice is to just take it slow. Try not to be in a place where you two could take it furthur. Set boundaries for yourself and let him know upfront what your boundaries are. He should respect your want to not take it furthur.

Being close to a guy and kissing a guy is not sinful!
I have heard that when you kiss a guy you do get emotionally attatched! If you feel uncomfortable with it or that it is wrong, don't do it! I would say that is gets to be sinful or wrong if you go farther than that! I know that everyone makes mistakes, so, if you do make a mistake just get up from that mistake and try again! Hope this helps!

A sin ??? I have a problem with that word.
I infers wrong doing and religion has coined it and defined it and used it create fear in the minds who are not informed. You will hear many ideas and actions that are Sins but you should accept that we are just human. do you see harm in it 'NO' most everyone kisses someone. Hell in the middle East everyone kisses everyone, except men don't kiss women except at home. I looked for that on the TV.

Oh you poor little pet, kissing is harmless and not to mention, fun. Holding hands will not transmit any major diseases, maybe just the flu. And if it wasn't for girls and boys holding hands and kissing there would be no little babies and the mitzvah to go forth and multiply would not be fulfilled, we would all die out and be in transgression of Torah. G-d bless you and have fun, but don't do anything silly. Shalom.

Not by itself however you are putting yourself in a position of occasion to sin. Stop before you go so far down that path you won`t be able to come back. Be strong and put limits on the behaviors in your relationship. There will be years to do whatever you want together if you work on the other aspects of your relationship.

Hey girl, your mom and dad've been holding and kissing each other too, you know that, don't you? It's not sinful to kiss a boy, just don't let your relationship go too far.

How old are you? It is not a sin to do that, but I think he may have other things in mind that could become sin if you go all the way. You go by your gut feelings about what you are doing. It is called a conscience......

We have evolved pretty good instincts which help us through life.
If you do what comes naturally your instincts will usually protect you. But we have also evolved the use of reason, so don't forget to use that as well. It tends to work a lot better than bronze age mythologies.

No I do not believe that it is a sin to show affection. However sex out of marriage is definitely sinful, even if you've been divorced.
