The dog has Valley Fever. He's at the animal hospital, but the vets seem clueless about what to do. Any pet owners out there who have experienced something like this and have some suggestions about what should be done?

I have had an exp with this situation at our clinic. We put ice packs on bridge of the nose up toward the eyes. Make sure to wrap pack in a towel to avoid frostbite. only for about 10 to 15 minutes. take off for half hr. and repeat. And use a saline spray. The capillaries in the nose are drying out causing the nose bleed. By using the ice packs, it will cause the capillaries to recede and stay moist . Good luck getting the Valley Fever under control.

i do not imagine so.. I easily have considered lower than pressure canines before and under no circumstances considered one with a nostril bleed because of it.. i might want to take the canines to the vet and get a examine up, make positive you element out the nostril bleeds.. Groomers at the on the spot are not vets, no the position close to vets.. so that you need to take their medical suggestion with a grain of salt..

saline spray, the nasal passages have to be kept moist. Did they check for foxgloves?
