because some of my friends that arer like 10 have boyfriends and they are much more imiture then i am but i do have one friend that is a guy well i have more then one guy friend but i mean i think some of them like me i am not sure but whatever

Nope, no boyfriend for you sweetie!! You're 11, what's your hurry? What are you going to do with a boyfriend at your age? He can't take you on a date or even out to the corner store for an ice cream ~ He has no car or job ~ at least I hope not. Besides, that boy isn't going any where at least not with YOU!! Wait until you are in the 9th grade or around 16 & then think about it....

At your age you have but one thing a boy wants and it's between your legs. Don't be stupid and dedicate yourself to studying for now. The fun time will come later when you are a little bit older and know more about having babies and stuff like that. Right now you do not need the distraction. And if anybody is older than you by a few years, look out. Talk to your mom and this time listen and pay attention, it's important.

I had boy Friends that was not that serious at that age. Then at age 15 I thought it was time for more serious dating and got pregnant.
So no, hang with girlfriends, have fun being yourself without a bf. When you do decide to get a boyfriend. Start with boys that are friends that you hang with and just talk to sometimes, don't jump in feet first.
( Ps. Im 25 and my son is almost 10, I love him very much. but still could have waited a bit longer before I thought about boys)

Probably not at this age. And, there isn't such a thing as "should" and "shouldn't" have a boyfriend. If you feel pressured by others, just remember that if you wait for the right guy, they are the ones that are going to be jealous. With other boys your age, its probably not a good idea. I'm sure your responsible, but lets face it...at eleven, boys aren't really looking for love. Their looking to play football with their buddies. It's all up to you--if you really want one, then experiment, but if you want a really great guy who will take the relationship seriously--wait! P.S., if there is a special boy who likes you too...I'd try it! :]

Sweetie, guy friends are ok at 11yrs old. Not boyfriends. You should be having a good time with your girlfriends, babysitting to make money, fussing with your hair and clothes... things like that. Boys will come all too soon and that carries alot more responsibility. Just relax with your girlfriends and don't rush thru life. Oh and listen to what your mom tells you, because boys typically don't take NO for an answer.

I do not think it is a good idea for a girl your age to have a boyfriend. It is too easy to become dependent on having a man in your life.
It will leave you open to some bad situations before you are ready for them.
Wait until you are 16. For now make friends with lots of people from both genders.

I think it is really sad that you are asking this question at your age. You have years ahead of you where you can worry about relationships and all the other things that are connected to growing up into a woman.
One thing that you will never get back is your childhood and youth. Make the most of it while you still have it - it is all too short and can never be recaptured.

The best part of being young is having a new crush. Once he becomes your boyfriend, it's a downhill ride to the breakup. Keep it fun and flirty, not too serious. You'll have lots of time for heartache later. Enjoy how fun it is to be 11 while you can.

enjoy your youth while u can....there's nothing wrong with "puppy love" or dating while you're young but I would strongly recommend that u keep your head in the books and out of the clouds. Date but don't make it your priority in your life ok??? In H.S. I wasted 3 good long years of my life on an abusive boyfriend, I lost my real friends and missed out on a lot of good opportunities......so take it from me, don't let these guys be your everything, especially at a young age because u might miss out and lose everything. Ask your mom and dad.
If you were my daughter, I would discourage it. Right now it is more important for you to develop good friendships with girls (they will be with you for a lifetime) and PLATONIC friendships with boys.
If you MUST have a boyfriend, you should only be seeing each other occasionally and only for meetings in public places (like a movie) or where his or your parents will be. AND also ONLY someone your own age!
What's your hurry? Boys complicate a girl's life--they make you cry. Have fun now just being a kid.
