I just installed PS 7.0 on my computer. BUT, when I try to start the program, I get an error. It says "invalid access to memory location". What does that mean? And how do I fix it?

If you dont feel like re-installing it...go into your program files and try to run it from the shortcut in the adobe folder

Reinstalling at the most times is the best way for solving such problems, but before that make sure you do not have any background running software that use your physical or virtual memory.
These softwares could be memory managers or hard optimizing utilities. Maybe conflict between those programs and your Photoshop is the source of this error.

Not sure, but Photoshop used virtual memory to speed up work. If you have one hard drive, you have to make sure your cache is not set to some other device.
