If your frig is operating correctly you may find cucumber's will last 10 to 16 days. Once you cut them you will have just about 2 days or so.
All produce degrades once it is harvested, the best way is to check it.
If they are soft, mushy or have brown spots on them I would toss it out.
Cucumbers should be firm and crisp
Enjoy!

Cucumber
Definition: Believed to have originated in either India or Thailand, the cucumber has been cultivated for thousands of years. This long, cylindrical, green-skinned fruit of the gourd family has edible seeds surrounded by a mild, crisp flesh. The thin skin, unless waxed, does not require peeling. Cucumbers are usually eaten raw, as in salads. The smaller cucumber varieties are used for pickles. As a cucumber matures, the seeds grow larger and more bitter. Therefore, the seeds of an older cucumber should be removed before it's used. The more expensive English (or hothouse) cucumber can grow up to 2 feet long and is virtually seedless. Cucumbers are available year-round, with the peak crop from May to August. Choose firm fruit with smooth, brightly colored skins; avoid those with shriveled or soft spots. Store whole cucumbers, unwashed, in a plastic bag in the refrigerator up to 10 days. Wash thoroughly just before using. Cut cucumbers can be refrigerated, tightly wrapped, for up to 5 days.

The thing with most vegetables and fruits is that, even if they have been in the fridge a long time, when they do get bad, they don't necessarily hurt you. It's not like it would be with animal products. Fruits and veggies will lose their nutrients, they will lose their flavor, but they will not be "bad" for you, even if they're in the fridge for three weeks. Past three weeks, they'll often get too soft and mushy for you to even find them sexy enough to eat...

3 to 4 days...
but to keep it a bit longer, try wrapping it with old newspaper before keeping it in the fridge. the paper will retain its moisture for at least another 2-3 days.

You will see them get mushy spots and a white mold on the outside when they are finished. ALways test to see if they have become spongy because then they have started to turn.

If they're in the same box with other fruit and vegetables, as long as the apple doesn't go rotten!
