My Dad said everything starts getting bright until eventually he can't see, but everything is all white. Then he is dizzy for about 15mins. He is calling it a white out instead of a black out cause everything is all bright. Any ideas??? His Doctor isn't sure. I think it has more to do with his brain than his eyes.

I would also have to say migraines. I have white outs with my migraines, but only in one eye. Not all migraines have pain associated with them. Blindness, nausea, nose bleeds, etc.. but no pain is possible. They have theories about what causes them, but no really knows. If they did, they would have found something to help mine in the last 13 years.
