What do you call a lot of weight. The norm in losing weight is a pound or two a week, anything more than that is not healthy. When losing weight, you want to lose at a slow rate, that way it give your body time to ajust to it's new weight, and hopefully you are learing a new healthy way of living and eating, that way keeping it off. Losing weight at a fast rate doesn't give you enough time to understand and learn what you need to do in order to keep it off.

You need to define a lot. Genrally the body can only lose max 5 lbs a week. That is very unhealthy and takes a lot of work and a few doses of a laxative.

Dear you,

This method worked for me:

Eat very low fat or non-fat foods for every meal. There are a lot of foods that can be purchased with reduced fat. And eat less than you normally would. For example: For breakfast, eat a bowl of Special K red berries, an apple, and a cup of coffee with skim milk and splenda for cream and sugar. For lunch, have a light yogurt, a fruit, pretzels or low-fat chips, and a low fat dessert such as a Snackwell cookie or a fat free fig newton. For dinner, have a turkey burger with fat-free American cheese and some ketchup and a pickle, along with a baked potato with fat free sour cream and some fat-free cheddar cheese. For dessert, make pudding with skim milk!

There is no healthy way of doing that!... you'll either gain it right back or have severe health issues following. A week is a very short amount of time.

Stop eating carbs completly, and you will certainly loose alike ten pounds. Also if you stop drinking water you loose weight.

it's not healthy to lose alot of wight in one week, go to sauna , make sure you spend lotsa time there so you sweat, you can lose 5 pounds like that, i tried it.... eat less , sh.it more :)
