If you are talking about a box or set not opened and worn you'll be fine except your prescription has probably chnaged a bit. If these were worn in the past I would dump them. The posts abot fungus and bacteria are correct even in saline nasty critters could have been breeding and your simply asking for trouble. Even popping them in briefly to see if they irrate your eyes could be enough to end up with an infection that could do serious harm!

I have monthly lens in the orignal sealed state that are two years old- I stocked up when I got them and they are fine since most do not expire for ten years.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Is not a very good idea..and I'll give you a couple of reasons. First of all, even if the contacts were new/sealed (which I hope was the case for you to consider wearing them..fingers crossed), your prescription may not be the same. Contact lenses also have a wearing life..there is an expiration date on these things. The material starts wearing down and things like that..so is not a good idea to wear if expired. Another reason is that old contacts might irritate your eye bringing infections..which you might need to buy prescription drops for and these are expensive...and you could have saved that money for new contacts. I hope I was of some help. Best of Luck!

Your sight is too precious to chance on old contacts, so I would see an opthalmologist and get a new script for them, instead. The price has gone done in the last few years, and you might find ones you like better than the old ones. Good luck.

You can wear them, but your eyes may have changed. If you contacts and glasses are from the same prescription i wouldnt worry about it.

I don't think it would be such a good idea, your vision changed from few years ago, so if you want to damage your eyes even more then go ahead

They might irritate your eyes and they may become red or may produce discharge. The contacts also may scratch your lenses.

No it isn't. Protein might have built up on your old contacts, thus infecting your eyes

Definately NOT! I would not put anything in my eyes that have to be soaked in ANY chemical for ANY reason. Sitck to eye exercises or wear glasses.
