If a man just stares at you and checks you out,and sometimes he does talk you and seems playful and flirtatious,but he has not asked you out does that mean that he is not intrested? am i reading too much into his actions.

He could just be shy. He could want to know that you are interested before he approaches you. Do you smile back? Let him know it is okay to approach you? Do you turn away from his flirtatious actions?
Just staring, does not mean he wants to go out with you, per se. He could just be checking out your body. Maybe he's married and not interested in cheating (Great News) - frustrating for you, but great news.

If a man is doing all of the above actions and doesn't ask you out it is for 2 reasons,
1.he is to nervous to ask you out that's why he haven't done it yet or
2.He just want to be you friend, nothing serious~

Maybe you are so into him u just think every little thing is showing that he likes u. He could just wannna be friends and still like u but some guys know how they r and he may not wannna hurt u by getting into a relationship with you. so just play it cool and let him get it together

If the situation goes this way and he hasn't ask u yet..it's probably because he's affraid to approach the situation....maybe he's afraid of getting in something that hew cannot get out of...more likely it's he wants to get to know you better or either he wants to be friends before it progress to another relationship. Either way keep your option open.

maybe he just got out of a bad relationship and is not ready for another right now or maybe hes just shy and is afraid two ask you out give him some signs that say i like you a lot its ok two ask me out or ask one of his friends if he realy likes you(just to make sure) and then ask him out if you are absolutly sure that he is interested
