mtv is really just destroying the kids nowadays. I wish you could take that away, if she watches it, that is.
However, my advice would be not get upset about it. Normally I used to get mad when my mom bugged me and bugged me, so I never did it. However, if you just kind of ease into it, maybe she'll like that way more. If not, then keep taking away her stuff

WELCOME to the teenage years. I have 2 daughter 15 and 16 and when you ask them to do a chore they act like they are the only teenagers on the face of the earth that have to actually do something. My nephews room got so bad my sister put tape across the door and said it was condemed!

Let her not take care of her own things. If she wants to wear wrinkly, dirty clothes then so be it. She'll either decide that she wants to take care of her things, or she won't have nice things anymore. Let her know that when you ask her to do things around the house for the whole family then she has to do it. But with her stuff, let her be. She'll come around, and if she doesn't at least it doesn't need to stress you out anymore.

Don't buy her anymore new clothes or "goodies" until she learns that she has to help around the house. Teens hate not having new stuff.
