The loss of a loved one is vary hard on all the family. Talk to your parents about your feelings and let these pent up emotions out. I lost my ma a while back and I still think of her almost every day. Your gran has had a long life with ups and downs just like us all. there comes a time for all of us to go beyond the here and now. I can't tell you don't cry because that's not the way. Tell your gran you love her and you care. talk to her while you can...

I know this is a hard time for you. I'm very close to my grandma too, and whenever I think of what I'll do when my grandma dies, I cry. I don't know what I'll do when she's gone. But what I do know is, I'll be happy. I'll be happy b/c I'll know she'll be in a better place, where she will hurt no more.
This is a time when your grandma really needs you. Go, go be with her. Let her know what you are feeling. If you need to cry when you are there with her, do it, cry. Your grandma knows you love her, show her u love her. Go ahead, take her dinner, she will greatly appreciate it. Who knows that could be your last meal with her. Do it before it is too late. B/c when it is too late, you will never let yourself over that, b/c you didn't do what you wanted to do before she died. But also when she does die, let yourself know she is in a better place. Where everything is peaceful, happy, no hurt, no suffering, and she will be able to watch over you.
If you need anyone to talk to through this tough time you can email me at: sweet_thang200412@yahoo.com

Even if you do cry, it's an open honest, show of love for her. If she asks you why you are crying, tell her honestly it hurts you to see her go thru this & that you love her. I went thru this with my Mother a-while back, Hospice explains everything to the person that they are taking care of, and also the family. You should talk to them by yourself if you want, they see people go thru this all the time, they are very kind and understanding. Your Grandmother already knows whats comming, and she will be understanding with you. Like the other lady said spend as much time with her as you can, don't avoid it because you're scared of how you will act. We can't always be troopers, we are human. Talk to her like you always did, memories and fun times. I wish you all the best, and I'm sorry you have to go thru this.

There is no easy way to get through this. You have to just allow yourself time to cry when you need it. There isn't really anything such as being "under control" at a time like this. You can try to avoid crying in front of her, but you may just need to let it out. There is nothing to be ashamed of- you love her. It's o.k. to be sad.

I understand everything you're saying......
I lost my mom 2 years ago and she was in similar circumstances.......
There is no certain way of going through the pain you are experiencing...Some people cry for different reasons.......I cried ..Every time I left her ..when I saw her .and when she finally went on to be with the Lord......
You know what is causing the tears...memories..love.....a life goon too soom..guilt.you may have not doon enough for her ....who knows ?
The important thing is that she is about to embark on a voyage we all will take..Love her..talk to her, read a story , talk about times gone by , share a memory of her that you have cherished......Pray for her........
Treat her like she is a human being....She needs your strength now and more than that .YOU NEED HERS.........
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS GRANDMA.......

Give your grandma all the support you can right now. It is the last chance you have to show your love for her. Spend time with her talking or doing whatever she feels like. The both of you will feel better for it. Good luck, sweety.

I believe that god made everything and ordains all things. But why he makes things so hard it seems like we can't deal with them, no one really knows, so I won't speculate as to why god gave this to your grandma and your family.

But, I deal with it all by praying. Sometimes prayers my religion suggests, and sometimes, just a (seemingly) one-sided conversation with that omniscient-omnipotent power that makes the rules. It usually makes me feel better and brings calm and clarity to the situation.

Sweetie, this is not about you. This is about your grandma. She needs to see you and hear from you as much as possible. You will never regret the time you are spending with her now. There will be plenty of times for tears when she is gone, but you never regret what you did as much as what you did not do.
Bless you and your family.

Cry. Let your tears out. Just do yourself and your grandma a favor, be strong when you are with her. It is hard to lose a loved one, just let her know how much you love her.

It isn't easy when a loved one is almost dying, but she isn't dead yet and believe me that if you don't see her, tell her that you love her and show this to her, it'll be too late and believe me there won't be anything you can do. Ask the Lord to give you strength and the will to do it, you will.
