Spybot-S&D only wants to bring to your attention that "someone" disabled one or more notifications in the Windows Security Center, e.g. the notifications that your virus protection is not active or not up-to-date.

Read this thread it should answer your question its basically advising you to go to the security center and make sure that your settings are as they should be.

If you installed the McAfee suite and it installed its firewall it disables the windows security center and firewall and installs its own. So spybot is detecting what McAfee did. Check your McAfee security center (big red M in taskbar) and verify that it is managing your firewall and antivirus.

If you are trying to remove Spyboot..forget it!!! WE had it here on our computor and for another reason we had to take our computor to Staples and they could never even remove all of it. Spyboot and Adware are two of the worst programs you can download to your computor. They told me that because they are free and nothing is free that there are other things that are attached to it and impossible to get rid of. Even now when I go to add/remove programs it still shows. Since Staples cleaned out this PC as best they could it works great and I don't think Spyware really affects it now. I have learned that you only get headaches with these free download programs.
