Quick, easy and delicious. Added bonus -- everyone loves them.

1 (16 oz.) package of little smokies
1 pound bacon
1 c. brown sugar (or to taste

Cut bacon into thirds and dredge in brown sugar, then wrap each strip around a lil smokie. Arrange on a foil wrapped broiling pan (foil the bottom of the pan for easy clean up) and sprinkle them liberally with more brown sugar.
Broil for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once halfway through. They should turn out brown and a little crispy.

This snack is based on the notion that pork wrapped in pork is a good thing! :-) Here is a sauce to go with it, but it doesn't really need it.

1/4 c. mayo
1/4 c. red chili sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
hot sauce to taste *optional*

Combine all ingredients well and refrigerate for at least 8 hours (or overnight) so flavors can meld.

A favorite at my house that stands out- buy a loaf of high quality fresh Italian bread, and warm it. Set it out with a bread knife, and a dipping sauce made from a strong-flavored olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and minced garlic (a pinch of basil, roemary, or oregano is also great). Delicious, and classy. If you wanted to, you could also add a small dish of minced tomato, parsley, and onion, as a bruschetta, to top the bread.

If you like chicken liver you could:
Soak livers in Louisiana Hot Sauce (any hot sauce you prefer) then wrap each one in one half slice of bacon secured with a toothpick and bake for 20 minutes in a 375'F oven or broil for 8-10 minutes in broiler
Baking and broiling times may very according to how done you want them to be.

My sil makes these chicken salad sandwhiches that has the packaged chicken with the recipe on the back, then she cooks biscuits, not whole ones, cuts them in fours and makes small finger sized chicken salad sandwhiches. Meatballs, cut up fruits and veggies with dips, cheeses, chicken wings. These are all some good ideas. Hope this helps.

taco balls.....our favorite. mix 1 1/2 lb uncooked ground beef with one package of taco seasoning, 2 eggs(beat slightly before putting in beef), 1/4 cup chopped green onion. cut up a small block of cheddar cheese into small pieces. I do about 1/4 inch square. take enough of beef mixture to roll into meatball size balls around cheese pieces. bake at 450 for 7 to 12 minutes. have lots of sour cream handy and watch them disappear.

Spread squares of Buddig Wafer Meat (or other brand) with cream cheese, lay a spear of dill pickle across one end, and roll up. Rich - but yummy!

Hummos with pita bread cut into triangles, lightly toasted. Pour a little olive oil (best you can get) on the hummos and garnish with a couple of olives.
