I haven't had it in years, but I remember as a little kid, living in Miami Beach, I used to go to a private school, and every morning they would give us toast with apple butter on it.
I remember trying it many years later, and wondering how did I ever love it!!
I guess my answer would be, if you have to eat it, try toast!

It can be used as an oil substitute in cake recipes. Takes good, but cuts down the shelf life. Any cake mix that uses oil will do.

I really like it on the raisin bread mixed with a little butter, like they serve at the Waffle House. It is delicious and they sell raisin bread at Walmart or most any bakery section.

It is really good on toast or regular bread. Add it to oatmeal or mixes to have the good taste. I love this stuff and eat it on english muffins.

Try using it as the base for a glazed pork loin recipe. You can add Worchestershire sauce, soy, suagr, garlic- and make it spicier, sweeter, or tangy, to taste. It is delicious if you broil it.
