whats the difference between miller and miller high life?

mgd is cold-filtered, while miller high life is heat pasteurized before being bottled. cold filtration retains some of the flavor that heat pastuerization might "burn" away. besides that, they're pretty mucht he same thing in different packaging. high life has been around for about 100 years while mgd has been around for 25. high life bottle definitely looks neater.
