Yes. Anglo-Saxon generally means having to do with England or it could mean having to do with the time in England before the Norman Conquest (yr. 1066). Anglo-Saxon heathen? I imagine there were some. A heathen is someone who falls outside of the traditional religious practices, so yeah, there must have been a few heathens in old England. Definitely a difference though.

What in the world made you ask that? Heathen is a term for those who do not beleive in a deity. The Anglo-Saxons certainly did, and I am an Ango-Saxon, but not a heathen.

The first term would include any that might have been converted to Christianity, while the second only refers to those for whom the Christians don't recognize their religion.
