I believe I am in-love with this person. What with the tell-tale signs. But a small part of me seems to think otherwise. Why do I want to be with the person always then?

Make sure what you're feeling is ginuine cause that small part of yourself might be doubt. If you don't have any ideas of why you feel this way, then this isn't love. Jus the temporary high you feel while being around this person.

If you are in love you know it! Does that person make you smile? make you feel comfortable and is easy to be around? Can you be yourself and not play games?

Being in love is not the same as loving.

Try being with the person and when you get home look at your face in the mirror... Or pay attention when you are about to see him/her...

It sounds to me that you are afraid of being in love, that's why you might be fighting and reasoning with your gut feeling.
The best way to know is ask yourself and listen to the answer with your heart, naked from any reasoning.
