would the irs physically whip us if they could for not paying taxes.?i dont think even they would resort to that like other countries they seem to do everything else

Well they can sure make you feel like you was whupped.
Send you to jail.
Make you pay the taxes plus interest.
Reposs your home, car, seize your bank accounts.
That's pretty whipped.

No there is no debtors jail. Talk with them and make arrangements. They are wiiling to be reasonable. I had to make arrangements 2 yrs ago.
