No, Pope is not evil, he is the spiritual head of christianity faith. His remarks about the Islamic faith and its founder Prophet Muhammad, caused a stir in the Islamic community. When a spiritual leader of a christian faith utter some remarks, the followers of that faith can take those words as authentic, and this is where the Pope made and error. His apology to Muslims in this regard is sign of a great man.

Is that a real question? I think he is about the same as a government worker - having basically good intetions, but incompetent. Though some see him as having EVIL intentions and being SUPREMELY competent. Those guys also probably watch too much Star Trek...

The Pope is not evil...you can relax. The Pope is the head of the Church on earth; the vicar of Christ. Everything will be OK

Have you actually read what the Pope said?
Here is a link to the English translation of the Pope's controversial speech: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/speeches/2006/september/documents/hf_ben-xvi_spe_20060912_university-regensburg_en.html
With love in Christ.

Yes the pope is evil. Anyone who claims to or in this case does wield ultimate control over what a catholic believer can and can not do is certainly evil.

The head of a cult is not exactly a good example.
