I am going to answer you seriously and alot of people out there may not like my answer. I can only say sorry if you don't. Years ago all of the churches were teaching that Native Americans were not human and had no souls. Long before any of that, alot of churches taught that decendants in the African race were all descended from Cain the murderer of Abel so they were a bad lot of creatures...we won't even get into the ridiculous sex with monkey cr_ _. Anyway, today we are told as we have been for awhile that animals do not go to heaven. I toss that idea the way of the others I just mentioned. They are all twists that people put on the word of God and label later as interpretation. Scripture tells you God's eye is on the sparrow. It talks about Elijah seeing the chariot of fire drawn by horses coming down from heaven. I am reading what it says and then if I didn't understand what I read, at least I know God made it all and gave life to all of it. He also shortened the life span to all He created and punished it all with The Flood the scripture tells us. You tell me it says He has his eye on the sparrow and it does say that. If He did not love the birds and His other creation would He bother to make and care for them? My heart tells me that people are going to be very surprised when they find other life forms in heaven and I am not talking aliens here. Angels are a different life form too and that ought to show you a pattern. God is orderly and His laws are both good and unchanging. So my answer to you is that God is surrounded with sparrows and alot of others.

As we all share the spirit of life, which comes from God, everything, animal and human alike, has a piece of him. I imagine God knows and feels every piece of him.

God has already implemented a system for this. It's called decomposition. Everything eats!

OF COURSE, this is just a euphemism for God being omniscient and seeing/knowing all that is happening.
