I think that people are not horribly biased against other religions except maybe Islam. When a people commit too many atrocities in the name of their God, it pisses people off and you can't blame them for that.
Most of us obviously have a bias towards our religion because it is the one that we understand the most -- and because we are so busy absorbing more and more of our religion, we get to know very little about other religions and consequently, we develop some measure of bias against them. But with Islam, it goes further than just some measure of bias because of factors such as 9/11.

I am a Christian..and in my experiences..when I talk to some about the subject..they get very defensive..as if they don't want to believe what is true..or what I and alot of others believe is truth.
Instead of opening their ears and minds and listening...they close themselves up and go on the defensive...they seem to not want to admit that there IS someone superior to them..they want to feel they are in control of their own destiny...and they want to go their own way. So..they lash out...talk hatefully to people, no matter what the person's religion might be..and act as if they don't care at all. But..I do believe they do care...and when they are alone..they do consider it more and think about what others tell them...but they will never admit it

I think it's a vicious circle. One person presents their religion as truth, which annoys me, so I post an answer in argument, which annoys someone else...
What happened to the good old days where sex, religion, and politics weren't discussed in public? I'm not against free speech, but I AM in favor of common sense. When did everyone become so obsessed with religion?

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
