There's this guy on my swim team who's two years older than me. I'm a freshman and he's a junior. He's offered me rides many times and stayed with me while I was waiting for my ride once although my coach was still there waiting with me also. Once at a swim meet, he kept bringing up guys who are on the team and asking if I liked any one of them. He gives me compliments about things and when this other girl on my swim team asked him to go with her to homecoming as friends he said yes. When she was telling me about it. He came up and jokingly asked me if I was jealous. I think it's over a 6 month period that he did all this. At homecoming he complimented me on how I looked and asked if I came with a date. He asked me about the guys I danced with. But when we email he usually gives 5 word answers and I know he's really nice to everyone. So does he like me?

Well, Let me start off, I'm a 27 year old guy and when i was in high school my junior year, I always had the freshan girls down as the cutest, like all kinds of guys were after the freshman
I'd say the fact that he acts you what you think of other guys on the swim team, and the fact that he saw you at homecoming and asked if you came with a date, and wanted to know who you dnaced with,
He probably feels VERY comfortable being around you and maybe he doesn't have the balls to ask you out, But is throwing the subject in the air hoping that it will go somewhere.
i think that he probably does like you. If you do not have his # get it.
I think is what your going to need to do is take the initative and ask him if he wants to do something afterschool, try hanging out with him whenever you can, And then once you feel totally comfortable, Telll him that you like him and you'd be great if we could start going out.

i'm sure he does but,he also sounds a little unsure of himself if not kinda shy.just because he talks doesn't mean he isn't shy.I'd say he likes you so much you scare the hell out of him.You'll proably have to make the first move if you're expecting anything to happen.
