Honey you are one tuff woman, less some will power of course. Use the bucket method on your husband. Make him stand on a bucket when you and hubby are make love, watch his eyes when they start to roll back in his head kick the bucket of under him, he will then pull it out and you will be safe. That is birth-control tennessee style. Good luck.

ask the doctor anyway
whether you are "supposed to have sex" doesn't matter
tell the doctor that you will be careful and not hurt yourself
he should then be happy to prescribe you whatever you think will work best for you and your husband (pills, diaphragm, patch, etc)
however, if you're just talking about a few weeks until your surgery is more healed, condoms sound like a good match, they may reduce some of the pleasure but it is only for a few days
you can do lots of things with your hands and your mouths and you needn't put the condom on until just before vaginal entry
if you are creative you can give your husband something a little different for a little while and I bet he will respond very positively even if it means condoms for part of encounter
my wife and I had quite a few weeks where we couldn't have vaginal sex at all (because of an epesiotomy that didn't hold) and we had a lot of fun being a little creative, again just for a few weeks
good luck

You can ask your doctor for birth control. He can tell you what you "shouldn't" be doing, but he can't tell you what not to do. It's your body; hell you could've had sex the day after you delivered and it still would've been your choice at the end of the day.
If I were you, I'd go see the doc, otherwise get ready for another baby soon.

what about using conceptrol...it's a spermicide that you insert then squirt in just like you would a tampon right before you have sex. i've used it for years and never had a problem or "accident"
just a little note...i 've known more than one baby conceived via precum, using the "pull out" method.
