I have a sony handycam DCR-DVD92. Is there any way to add music to the background of a photo movie?

i think i might be able to help you. i'm just not sure what software you are using. i'm assuming you are using the software given with the camcorder. i have not ever used this program, but i think i can help. try opening the folder with your music file in it as a small window. then drag and drop it on top of the video clip. if this doesn't work, try reading the manual. if that doesn't work, use another software, such as the free Windows Movie Maker 2. it's REALLY good for the price. i hope this helps you. good luck!!

To do what you want, you need to set the camcorder to EDIT mode before you use the Mini-DVD disc. Then you can edit the movie files with the editor and then make a DVD movie from that.

If you already have a DVD disc with movies on it, you need to convert the DVD files into normal files, like AVI and add the music with editing software, such as Ulead's MediaStudio. Then make the DVD file (MPEG-2), then use NERO to burn the movie disc with that.

Download it into Windows movie maker and put any song in the bg.
