i grew up facing racisim from a different point of view,

i was the only person in my wrea that was not racist to some degree, when i took a black girl to my senior prom all hell broke loose. and suddenly i was getting hate from everyone that i knew.

today i really try not to be a racist, but some things just make me wonder.

i am not trying to flame here but i have seen things in the American Black colture that really annoy the hell out of me. and i cannot understand why people act like this.

i have many black friends, they have regular jobs and wear their pants around their waist, they are clean cut and dress well. they use proper english and are generaly very successful people.

however in the black community they are made fun of, called uncle tom and all kind of crap.

most black music glorifies murder and crime. what is to be expected of a society when their heroes are criminals.

why is it that young black males all seem to have a chip on their shoulder,

why do they cross the road in front of a car and then slow their walk down to make the car slow down.

this whole THUG lifestyle, and they wonder why they are treated as criminals. because they are acting like criminals.

the white man did not make the ghetto a bad place to live, the people liveing there make it that way.

it is not cool to be smart and educated, and then they complain about not being able to get a job.

as i said, i am not trying to be racist, but these are the things that i see Black folks doing today that cause some stereotyping. and lead me to think negatively about some of them.

I used to live in essex just outside of baltimore, and i had friends in the city, black friends, and they even told me
"leave here at dusk, because when the sun goes down they will kill you" just because i was white.

i try to take people on an individual basis, there are plenty of white people that i cannot stand to be around...(uggghhhh VEGANS....)that is another rant ina nd of itself.

i agree it is not fair to judge by the colour of skin, but i will be the first to admit that if i see someone that is going out of their way to look like a gang banger than i will assume that they are a banger and i will go to lengths to avoid them.

Honey - look at society and you will find racism everywhere. It's sad. I tried to bring up how the Christian religion seems racist by pointing out I didn't see anything but white and then I got labeled a racist pig. So I gave up. However, I have dated Chinese, Black, and Latin..and one thing is for sure...it's all pink so who cares what color a person is? I sure the hell don't. As long as they are good hearted, and nice, I will get along with anyone of any race.

Well first off your question makes you sound very uneducated. If you are trying to help your cause, use proper English. Otherwise you are helping all the sterotypes about minorities seem true. Also Religion and Spirituality is not the place for this question.

It's not the *color* of the skin... it's cultural & genetic differences.

If you lived in the Deep South you'd understand...

racism is not something your born with, but taught by retarded elders that are still mad that they can't sit in the front of the bus and that they have to share a bathroom with blacks
