...Sunday, September 24th is National Good Neighbor Day; how do you plan on being a Good Neighbor?

I am a volunteer firefighter, so I work to protect all my neighbors. I try and be kind to others and offer whatever I can do, instead of judging them or their circumstances. Also the questions I answer here are honest and are aimed to be helpful instead of hurtful, as some people seemed to like to do. The Golden Rule still applies DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU.

I think I'm already a good neighbor. I'm in a rather large apartment building. I don't walk hard, don't play my music or tv too loud, don't hog all of the washing machines, don't cause problems and normally speak to my neighbors. I guess I will just try to be extra courteous on that day.

actually dont really need a day to tell me to be a good neighbour, I try my best to be that most of the time..............but lady close by just had baby so will try and do something extra for her and her family I would imagine. I am lucky in that I dont HAVE to work as husband earns enough so as one of the few that is at home most of the time, I tend to be the one that gets asked o keep an eye out. watch the house, feed the pets etc and am more than happy to do it as they will help [and do] when I need stuff done, one of the dying breed neighbour hoods I feel.

The man that lives next door to be is legally blind so I am going to fix him a very good dinner.

I tolerate the neighborhood kids, cats and dogs messing up my flower beds.
