When I was at school we used to make really yummy bran buns. Basically they were rock buns but nicer and involved using part regular flour, part wholemeal flour. Anyone have a recipe for that? I can't find it! I

was debating simply using a rock bun recipe and using half wholemeal flour but I wasn't sure if that was likely to work

Hiya, 8oz flour, 4oz butter, 3oz caster sugar, 4oz, mixed dried fruit, 1 beaten egg 2-4tsp fresh milk. As long as there is 8oz of flour it doesn't matter if you have 6-2 or 4-4 etc. This makes 10.
Enjoy
