That sounds like a great idea. They refund our money, we give back the land, bare as a baby's bottom. Can't really put the gold back, but into every life some rain must fall... At the same time, we put up a border fence that's worth a damn, cut off all foreign aid to Mexico, only trade with other countries, cancel any migrant labor programs, and generally seal off our country from theirs, by land, sea, or air. Then, when they go broke, and can't feed their kids again, and can't get into our country legally OR illegally anymore, and realize that they lack the capacity to manage their 'new' territory, we buy it back from em AGAIN at the original price. They can then use the money to buy food that they can't seem to grow at home...great idea! LOLOL

Nah, on second thought, let's just build that border fence.
If they need help supporting their people, they can ask nicely instead of having their rallies etc. And, we can 'help' them on the cheap, by holding classes on how to build stuff using locally available materials, apparently on how to farm and irrigate, how to run their economy, how to control corruption, stuff like that. Then, we leave. Check back on em in 100 years, see if they got anything done...one can always hope...there's always hope...

We aren't leaving ,I live in Arizona and I'm not going any where ,why should I .We beat Mexico and its ours.READ below

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was the peace treaty that ended the Mexican-American War (1846–1848). The treaty provided for the Mexican Cession, in which Mexico ceded 1.36 million km² (525,000 square miles) to the United States in exchange for USD$15 million. The United States also agreed to take over $3.25 million in debts Mexico owed to American citizens.

The cession included parts of the modern-day U.S. states of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming, as well as the whole of California, Nevada, and Utah. The remaining parts of what are today the states of Arizona and New Mexico were later ceded under the 1853 Gadsden Purchase.

Perhaps you don't live here but I do ,and as I said I'm not going any where and NO ONES taking my land.

No amnesty
Deportation not legalization of illegal immigrants.

We should not give away ANY part of the US to foreigners under ANY conditions. That would be the beginning of the Balkanization of the US, and the end of our country as we know it. I love the USA - every last corner of it - too much to give it away!
America can once again become the great "melting pot" that it once was. All it takes is a little backbone on the part of our government and people.

OK, this question could of been written more clearly, BUT....

That would never happen. But if that's what you want to do. God bless you! It will be nice to have a desert, not a polluted/running out of water because its over crowded/oven!

ON ANOTHER NOTE!
UM, yahhh textbook version of how US unjustly beat Mexico for territory, and gave the incidental 15million...This isnt a textbook case, its more complicated than that; for example, the premise for starting the war was a claim that Mexicans killed Americans on US soil. However, this claim could never be substantiated to Abe Lincoln's satisfaction... and the struggles going on today with US/Mexico issues proves it.
