I was taking a low key independent tour of Salt Lake City, and our tour guide asked us if we knew why the streets were so wide.
The official answer was to allow the pioneers to turn their wagons around. The unofficial answer is to allow Brigham Young to walk down the street arm in arm in arm with all of his wives (about 21 of them).

When we visited Brigham Young's house, the official tour guide referred to the kitchen as the place where Mother Young took care of the household. That guide never once referred to how many Mother Youngs there were.

At least the Mormon people are mostly nice today regardless of the background of the founders of their religion.

Thtat is the most offensive thing I have ever heard. Hugh Hefner thinks of women as nothing more than playthings and he treats them like crap. Brigham Young cared for his women and he respected them. Many of the women he was married to purely out of convieneince, the were widow women in a time where women could not care for themselves, and it was not appropriate for a man to just care for them- many had no sexual realtionship.

Warren Jeffs is like Hugh Heffner. He does not respect women and condones rape and abuse. And he is NOT Mormon.

Get you facts straight before you act like a moron and post idiotic questions. The leadership of the LDS Church (Mormons) Has always been and will always be respectful of women. They hold women in a very high regard.

I don't agree with your comparison in the least...
You are comparing a man of God to a man who is committing serious sins in the eyes of God.
But, at least Brigham was married to all his women!
