Is this in Israel, or in Arab nations? Is this a case of saying "Middle East" when it means Israel? Is this the matter of groups of men advertising for female consorts, who are provided for, and are free to leave? It's just like western self-righteous reactions to call this "slavery".

About 15 years ago there was a political issue in the US about women answereing ads and going to the "middle East" for such a purpose. When one woman refused sex and was sent home (as if she didn't have a clue}, she complained. Then Congress passed a law banning Americans from participating. Where it took place is not answered. I've read that some sort of sex slavery exists in Israel, whatever that means. Many US women were annoyed at the complainant, because they would have wished to go. It's either a romantic notion of living in a sheik's palace, or it's among wealthy businessmen in Israel. Is there any real "slavery" in this?
