It depends on the circumstances.
If you can PROVE that it was not your fault, AND if the other driver's insurers pay up, there should be no change to either your own or your Dad's insurance.
However, if your Dad's insurer's pay part of the claim, this could be reflected in future premiums - remember, it is a no-CLAIM bonus, not a no-BLAME bonus.
In any event, you ought to tell your insurance company about the incident (I assume that you already told your Dad's), because this could well be held to be relevant information, and to withhold it from them could result in their refusal to pay if you were to claim in the future.
This may sound somewhat heavy-handed, but it is not wise to mess with insurance companies. It is unlikely that they will increase your premium at renewal, but your honesty will be recognised.
I hope this helps....

Remember this common rule of insurance...tickets follow the driver...vehicle repairs follow the vehicle and it's insurance.
So if the car is on dad's policy and is damaged and needs repair, his insurance may go up, depending on how the damage was caused and how much damage we're talking about.
However, typically, if you aren't at fault, you should file for repairs on the other driver's insurance (I'm assuming there is another vehicle involved? We really need more info to properly answer this question).
That's the best I can do with the info given.

His will go up; it's not "your" insurance, you're an additional driver on his policy.
However, the accident will be on your record when you go to get your own insurance.

In most states and with most companies an accident that where you are "not at fault" will NOT affect your insurance premiums. Most.

if you were not at fault, your rates should not go up. It will affect his Insurance more (as the claim was placed against it) than it would yours, however as you are not at fault, it will be ok.
