my friends say that he's supposed to call me and that i am not supposed to call him. why?

Because that's the right way to do it. (The old school way). It sounds like the people you are around are old fashion, the type of people who think the man should pursue the girl. There is nothing wrong with that because it is a good way to tell how much the guy likes you by the number of times he goes after you.

Before my wife and I were married, she used to call me all the time. I liked the fact that she didn't sit around waiting for me to call her first. There's nothing wrong with you calling him. Go for it.

I would call. They say that woman seem desperate if they call the guy, but the truth is, guys are desperate and that's why they want to be the ones that call.

It's traditional that the guy is supposed to ask you out, call you, propose, ... You should do what you want.

Boys may forget very easily to call girls so if you want to talk to him call him Don't listen to your friends all the time

ignore them.call him if you want to.....i usually call my boyfriend.but its all a matter of opinion on whether or not you should call
