They have their own insecurities and feel they have to judge others (Badly, I might add) to make themselves feel good. I'd advise those who encounter these kinds of Christan's to ignore them.

The people being judged must be feeling some conviction. If you didn't think you were doing anything wrong, it wouldn't bother you. It's supposed to be between you and God.
I get judged by non-believers all the time....
I also have been judged by a couple of my Christian sisters. I was glad they mentioned it. However I asked some other people that are strong in the faith what their opinion was (not mentioning names) and they disagreed. There are more times when I'm actually doing something wrong, it gives me a chance to change my ways.
So....bottom line, we try to help each other not to live sinfully. Iron sharpens iron. BUT....if you're not a believer, then it shouldn't bother you. IF you're feeling some conviction, maybe you may want to search your heart and repent.

They want to show off what "good" Christians they are, so they find fault with everyone and everything with the exception of themselves. Also, they may be insecure about what they believe and have a huge fit if everyone doesn't feel the same.

It is not a Christian issue. Many atheists are judgmental too, as are Muslims, Jews, Druids etc. I think that one may expect that because someone proclaims their faith, unrealistic expectations are leveled at them. At the root of it all, we are all just people.

Why are some non believers too judgemental? Because we are all people with faults and issues.
